Un software progettato per il cibo
La piattaforma software Open Food Network consente agli agricoltori di vendere prodotti online, al prezzo che preferiscono. Può essere incorporata nel vostro sito web o ospitata sul nostro. È stato costruito specificamente per la vendita di prodotti alimentari, in modo da poter gestire misure o livelli di scorte difficili che solo il cibo possiede: una dozzina di uova, un mazzo di prezzemolo e un pollo intero che varia di peso, nessuno?
È un’ottima vetrina per la vendita di prodotti alimentari come impresa individuale, ma dove diventa davvero entusiasmante è quando c’è una comunità di agricoltori che lavora insieme.
Collaborazione semplificata
I produttori alimentari possono creare un negozio online, incassare i pagamenti e vendere attraverso altri negozi sulla piattaforma. I grossisti possono integrarsi con i sistemi esistenti, gestire gruppi di acquisto e fornire i prodotti attraverso reti nazionali o regionali di centri e negozi alimentari. Le comunità possono riunire i produttori della propria zona per creare un mercato agricolo virtuale, costruendo un’economia alimentare locale resiliente.
Le persone hanno sfruttato la potenza di questa piattaforma per creare collettivi alimentari, gestire le scorte degli hub alimentari o portare il loro mercato agricolo online con preacquisti per dare ai bancarellisti vendite più sicure.

Martina Brun
Luisa Quarta Kubioka
She focuses on enhancing sustainability and equity within food systems. Thereby, she is committed to alternative marketing strategies and community – based initiatives to support smallholder structures and their resilience.
Mikel Cordovilla Mesonero
Working on alternative food supply chains from a technical expertice and a community focus. Mikel has being active in multiple Community Supported Agriculture projects linking communities with technology and it is currently involved at : OpenOlitor ; Sunu
Bettina Scharrer
Bettina is a researcher at the Centre for Development and Environment at the University of Bern and works on agriculture, agricultural policy and sustainable food systems. She is also involved outside of research in the development of alternative and sustainable food systems and is co-founder of Circuit Court Switzerland.
